Formula & methodology
Formula: Target year = current year ± n (same calendar date)
- Enter the number of years and pick "ago" or "from now".
- The calculator shifts today's date by that many years (decimal years become whole years plus months).
- It reports the year, the exact date, and the age of someone born then.
Worked example: on 10 Jun 2026, 18 years ago was 10 Jun 2008 — someone born then turns 18 today.
