apps Small jobs, done in one click

Everyday calculators are the workshop drawer of the site — quick utilities for the moments when you need a number now and a phone calculator won't cut it. Age, date difference, GPA, fuel cost, time-to-decimal, password strength — pick a tool and you're one click from your answer.

speed Loads in under a second

Every tool is plain HTML + JavaScript with the calculation logic compiled in. No spinner, no "verifying browser" splash, no five-second wait while ads load. Hit the page, fill the form, get the answer. Slow tools waste your time and ours.

devices Works on every device

Responsive design tested down to a 320px-wide phone screen. The input fields use native number/date keyboards on iOS and Android, the calculate button is thumb-sized, and the result still reads big and bold on the smallest screen. No app to download, ever.

sentiment_satisfied No funny business

No newsletter pop-ups, no "create an account to see the answer", no fake countdown, no fake stock counter, no upsell. Two ad slots per page (clearly labelled as Advertisement) keep the site free — that's the whole business model.

Formula & methodology

Formula: Average = (Σ all times in seconds) ÷ count, formatted back to h:mm:ss

  1. Paste times one per line or comma-separated — hh:mm:ss, mm:ss or plain seconds.
  2. Each time is converted to seconds.
  3. The mean is taken and converted back to clock format, alongside total, median and range.

Worked example: 14:32, 15:08, 13:47 → (872 + 908 + 827) ÷ 3 = 869 s = 14:29.

Frequently asked questions

How do you average times correctly?
Convert every time to seconds, take the ordinary mean, then convert back. Averaging minutes and seconds as separate columns gives wrong results when seconds exceed 60.
Can I mix formats like 90 and 1:30?
Yes — plain numbers are read as seconds, two-part entries as mm:ss, three-part as hh:mm:ss. 90 and 1:30 both mean 90 seconds.
What's the difference between average and median time?
The average uses every value, so one slow outlier drags it up. The median is the middle entry and ignores outliers — useful for typical pace.
Does it handle times over an hour?
Yes, hh:mm:ss entries like 1:05:30 work, and averages over an hour are formatted back with the hours field.
Can I average lap times for running or swimming?
That's the classic use: paste your splits and read the average pace, total time and fastest-to-slowest spread.
