apps Small jobs, done in one click

Everyday calculators are the workshop drawer of the site — quick utilities for the moments when you need a number now and a phone calculator won't cut it. Age, date difference, GPA, fuel cost, time-to-decimal, password strength — pick a tool and you're one click from your answer.

speed Loads in under a second

Every tool is plain HTML + JavaScript with the calculation logic compiled in. No spinner, no "verifying browser" splash, no five-second wait while ads load. Hit the page, fill the form, get the answer. Slow tools waste your time and ours.

devices Works on every device

Responsive design tested down to a 320px-wide phone screen. The input fields use native number/date keyboards on iOS and Android, the calculate button is thumb-sized, and the result still reads big and bold on the smallest screen. No app to download, ever.

sentiment_satisfied No funny business

No newsletter pop-ups, no "create an account to see the answer", no fake countdown, no fake stock counter, no upsell. Two ad slots per page (clearly labelled as Advertisement) keep the site free — that's the whole business model.

Formula & methodology

Formula: Wake time = bedtime + (90 min x cycles) + ~15 min to fall asleep

Sleep runs in cycles of roughly 90 minutes, and waking at the end of a cycle (rather than mid-cycle) tends to feel less groggy. The calculator counts back or forward in 90-minute blocks, adding about 15 minutes to fall asleep, to suggest bedtimes or wake times that complete 5–6 full cycles. Most adults need 7–9 hours; consistent timing matters as much as total duration.

Frequently asked questions

How does the sleep cycle calculator work?
It counts 90-minute cycles from your target wake or sleep time, plus ~15 minutes to fall asleep, so you wake between cycles.
How many hours of sleep do I need?
Most adults need 7–9 hours, which is about 5–6 ninety-minute cycles per night.
Why do I wake up groggy after 8 hours?
Waking in the middle of a deep-sleep cycle causes grogginess. Aligning wake time with the end of a cycle helps.
What time should I go to bed to wake at 6 a.m.?
Counting 90-minute cycles, good bedtimes are about 8:45, 10:15, or 11:45 p.m. The calculator lists exact options.
Does a consistent schedule matter?
Yes. Going to bed and waking at the same times strengthens your circadian rhythm and improves sleep quality.
