Formula & methodology
Formula: Target date = start date ± n calendar days
- Enter the number of days and choose future ("from today") or past ("ago").
- Optionally set a different start date.
- The calculator advances the calendar day by day, handling month lengths and leap years exactly.
Worked example: 10 days from 10 Jun 2026 = Saturday, 20 Jun 2026 (1 week 3 days). 2,000 days before 10 Jun 2026 = 18 Dec 2020.
